Park to Show Pride - Social Distance Drive-In Event

An opportunity to show your pride, and/or support your friends & family despite annual celebrations canceled amid COVID-19 outbreak

How will we celebrate?

Participants are encouraged to decorate their cars (similar to a trunk or treat) and "drive-thru" or "drive and park" at the Paramus Park Mall on June 28, 2020 at 12:00p.m. Participants will remain at their vehicles throughout the event as social distance guidelines will be strictly enforced. There will be a DJ, and various members of the community and/or allies speaking on a variety of topics related to the LGBTQ community. Get ready to deck your "PRIDE RIDE"!

Why create Park to Show Pride?

Jaimee and Lisa Rizzo are a married couple residing in Bergen County with their 10 month old daughter, Carmella. Disappointed by the necessary cancelations and rescheduling of annual Pride events held every June amid the COVID-19 outbreak, they wanted to find a way to bring pride, joy, positivity, and a "sense of togetherness" to their local community.

Jaimee is a Real Estate Agent serving Bergen County and Lisa is the owner/founder of Challenge U. Softball in Wyckoff, NJ.
